ROAR is a 501c3 nonprofit movement that is embracing the power of storytelling to engage and mobilize the public, with a strong focus on younger generations, to demand dignity,  accountability, and reform in long-term care.

Historically activism has played a significant role in achieving major social and political advancements by raising awareness, putting pressure on decision-makers, and mobilizing communities to demand action on important issues and drive societal transformation. Reform in Long term Care requires a national movement of engaged and energized citizens to promote and demand real transformation.

On September 13, Grandparents Day, communities across the country will gather in unity to honor those who once walked for us by standing tall for their dignity. Across generations, we are bound by love and the belief that aging in America should never mean diminished worth, diminished safety, or diminished standards. This is not just a walk. It is a national statement.
